Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop predictive models and algorithms to address business challenges such as:
  • Forecasting time series
  • Optimizing warehouses
  • Predicting customer churn
  • Running A/B tests
  • Optimizing transport and delivery routes
• Collaborate with global teams of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Analytics Product Managers to implement data-driven solutions.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including version control, code structuring, and unit testing, to ensure robust solutions.
• Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, adapting the level of technical detail to the audience.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Data Science, Physics, Computer Science, Econometrics, Bioinformatics, or related disciplines).

Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience as a Data Scientist in a business environment.
• Proven track record of building and designing complex data science solutions.
• Familiarity with applying Machine Learning, Statistics, and optimization algorithms.
• Experience with software engineering practices like version control systems, code structure, and unit testing.
• Knowledge of Python programming and libraries like pandas and scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with Azure tools (Data Factory, Machine Learning, Databricks) is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Effective planning, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written, C1 level).
• Value-driven mindset with a pragmatic approach to achieving results in an Agile environment.

Technical Competencies:

• Expertise in MS Office.
• Experience with talent management and employer branding concepts is an advantage.
